Jonathan Gulstadt (aka Doctor J Money) is the co-creator and producer of “HipHop Shabbat.” He started rapping at age 12 during the lighting of the Chanukkah candles. He graduated from the University of Oregon where he attended the local Hillel house, and returned again to a love of the Shabbat ritual. Jonathan has been playing the piano since age five and has been producing his own music since the year 2000. Now he hopes to empower Jewish rappers of the future, with a love for our beautiful culture.
