Gary Lapow has been writing and performing his own songs for over 35 years. Although he is known as a performer for children, Gary has a wonderful repertoire of original compositions for grown-ups. Gary grew up in Brooklyn in the '40's and '50's. His father, Harry Lapow, was a professional photographer who spent 27 years photographing at Coney Island. Gary will sing songs he based on his father's photographs. Gary will be accompanied by Ed Gordon on bass. Both evocative and funny, this multi media presentation portrays life in a more innocent time.
