An encore performance of an original work for women’s voices and live looping electronics, featuring the composer, Amy X Neuburg and the award-winning vocal ensemble Solstice. Commissioned by the Jewish Music Festival, the songs are based on Jewish recipes collected by women of the Terezin concentration camp, combined with Amy’s own lyrics on fantasy and survival, and sung in English, German and Czech.

Includes an organic, locally-grown dinner of imaginative Jewish California tapas, inspired by the recipes.
